Today is the first death anniversary of former Prime Minister and veteran BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Many big leaders of the country are paying tribute to him today. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was ill for a long time, he died on August 16, 2018, after a long illness. You probably know that there is a cricket stadium in the country named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 500 crore has been spent to build the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium. The stadium is located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The stadium has a capacity of 50,000 audiences.

It is the second-largest cricket stadium in India in terms of audience capacity. The only Eden Gardens in Kolkata bigger than this stadium in India. The most special thing about this stadium is that this stadium does not have a single pillar and it has been built using new technology. Due to not having a pillar, you can watch the match from anywhere. The Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium was earlier named as the Ekana Cricket Stadium. But just a day before the match, it was named Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium.
